I decided that I wanted to read more of the Old Testament just because I don’t do enough of it so I chose to read Psalm and Jeremiah, mostly Psalm; Jeremiah is interesting but sort of hard to understand at times. Well Psalm is a pretty neat book, David had quite a few things to say and when I say a few things I am not even scratching the surface. It was cool how David always called on a God the minute things went bad even though most of the time he brought upon himself by making dumb decisions. I have learned a lot from David though because for me when things go bad my first instincts is to figure out a way how to fix it by the world’s perspective, I don’t stop and speak to God asking for wisdom in whatever situation it is. Psalm 25:4-5 says “Show me your ways, O Lord: teach me Your paths, lead me in Your truth and teach me. For You are my Salvation: On You I will wait all day.” I don’t know how to reach to this point, but I just have to keep spending time with God, so He is constantly running through my mind and flowing in my blood. This last week was great, for our Saturday ministry we cooked breakfast for the neighborhood we live in and invited kids over to eat and watch the cartoon movie Chicken Little, it was tons fun. I think the kids really enjoyed it. Keep praying for us.
