For our saturday discipleship the girls went to the womens prison to visit and talk with them. It was a very good experience because it opened up my eyes to see how different the culture is here. The prison was not what you would have pictured it to be, so i am going to try my best to describe it. It is an open space with courtyards, the women have individual rooms where they can take all their things and have a tv in their rooms. their kids also live with them which is very different from the American prison. there is alot more to it but i can't explain it very well. I had fun talking to the women and hearing their stories. We had our WOW on sunday and my group met a young couple that worship death and the husband does drugs, but it was so amazing because they were so open to being prayed for and letting us talk to them. They also came to church that following evening and went up for a prayer request that God would provide a job. I can't wait to see what else God has in store for them, and i pray that the language barrier won't be an issue when wanting to talk to them about God.
