So for our schedule we have what we call “quite time” with God from eight to nine in the morning from tuedays to friday. And the other days it’s pretty much up to you to schedule when you want to do it on your own. To be honest those are the only days i did my quite time and i just did not feel a pull to step out of me comfort zone and do it outside of the scheduled days. But lately God has just been speaking to me so much and I grab every oppurtunity to spend with God and everytime it gets better. I have come to love to love to love sitting in my bed, opening up the bible then a book, listening to praise and worship music and just soaking in everything.
That is where i got the idea of my title. God just reminded when i take a little baby step, He takes a giant leap to get closer to me. Not only do i want to get closer to Him, but He wants to get closer to me also. He is not a distance God, but He wants me to accept Him as my dad, my friend, lover of my soul. Pray for me that i will keep basking in God’s presence.
O yea! thanksgiving was pretty awesome. Lots of fun. Even though we were not home, it was homey here. It also got really really really cold, sort of scary because it did not feel like Mexico at all!
